This page categorises the dishware merchandise items released for G1. This includes things like plates, cups and bowls.

There were quite a few different designs of dishware for G1. Several china and plastic tea sets were made, including one by UK maker Poole Pottery. There were also number of plastic and china singular cups released, among other miscellaneous items.

Scandinavian Stoneware

Single pony cup, bottom (Translation: "Stoneware. Lead and cadmium safe decor and glaze.")

These cups are sometimes referred to as the UK cups, although they appear dominantly in Scandinavia.[7] They are made of stoneware and are thus much heavier than modern porcelain.[8] The language at the bottom is in Swedish and they are dated 1986. Lead and cadmium safe decor. Some mugs state "Made in the Republic of Korea" and seem to occur more frequently in Finland.[9][10] Their decor is known to fade greatly over the years.[11]

The single print cups are somewhat taller than the multi-decor cups and have either mint green or pink insides. There have also been plates sold locally, but there is very little information about them. The following ponies were printed on mugs, sippy cups, plates and bowls:
