Stationery company Current Inc. offered two baby ponies in its catalog in the late 1980s. They are known in the community as the "Valentine Twins," but it is unknown whether they have official names. Per their packages, the white pony is simply labeled "My Little Pony Toy," and the purple pony is labeled "1st Tooth My Little Pony Toy." Their packages list a 1988 copyright date, but they were likely available to order in 1989 or later.

Hasbro's final US brand collaboration began in 1991 with Kellogg's Rice Krispies. Consumers could choose between a G.I. Joe action figure, My Little Pony baby pony, or a Weebles figure with two proofs-of-purchase, or they could receive two toys with three proofs-of-purchase.
